Kingdom Heirs - Musical Career

Musical Career

The Kingdom Heirs perform multiple shows daily at Dollywood during the months that the park is open. While the park is closed, they tour just like any other group. The group has been at the park since 1981, when it was known as Silver Dollar City. It is estimated that they sing to over 2 million people each year - more than any other Southern Gospel group.

The Kingdom Heirs have had 6 songs - "That's Why I Love To Call His Name," "I Know I'm Going There," "Forever Changed," "What We Needed," "He Locked the Gates," and "Tell Me Why" - reach #1 on the Singing News magazine charts.

Famous quotes containing the words musical and/or career:

Creative force, like a musical composer, goes on unweariedly repeating a simple air or theme, now high, now low, in solo, in chorus, ten thousand times reverberated, till it fills earth and heaven with the chant.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

In time your relatives will come to accept the idea that a career is as important to you as your family. Of course, in time the polar ice cap will melt.
    Barbara Dale (b. 1940)
