King Kong & D. Jungle Girls

King Kong & D. Jungle Girls

King Kong & D. Jungle Girls is a three-person Italian eurobeat group featuring Andrea (King Kong), Alexandra and Roberta (D. Jungle Girls) formed in 1987. To date, they have released two albums (in 1989 and 1991) as well as two compilation CDs and several singles. Several incarnations of their songs "Boom Boom Dollar" and "Walkie Talkie" have been featured in the Dance Dance Revolution video games and Dancemania compilation series and its sub-series including Speed. The English language lyrics to these songs, which bear a striking similarity to Engrish, are often misheard and largely incomprehensible to native speakers, a trait it shares with current Eurobeat music.

Famous quotes containing the words king, jungle and/or girls:

You can put a Miss America in a room with a group of other attractive women and you’ll find you will know exactly who she is. It’s almost like a magnet. There is an inner beauty, an inner glow.
    —Rebecca King Dreman (b. c. 1954)

Home? I have no home. Hunted, despised, living like an animal. The jungle is my home. But I will show the world that I can be its master. I will perfect my own race of people, a race of atomic supermen, which will conquer the world.
    Edward D. Wood, Jr. (1922–1978)

Girls who put out are tramps. Girls who don’t are ladies. This is, however, a rather archaic usage of the word. Should one of you boys happen upon a girl who doesn’t put out, do not jump to the conclusion that you have found a lady. What you have probably found is a lesbian.
    Fran Lebowitz (b. 1951)
