Kiki and Herb

Kiki and Herb (Justin Bond and Kenny Mellman) were an American drag cabaret duo. Bond portrays Kiki DuRane, an aging, alcoholic, female lounge singer. Mellman portrays her gay, male piano accompanist, known only as "Herb."

Although Bond and Mellman were only in their late thirties and early forties, their characters were, according to their elaborate fictional biographies, more than seventy years old.

Famous quotes containing the word herb:

    Find out the peaceful hermitage,
    The hairy gown and mossy cell,
    Where I may sit and rightly spell
    Of every star that heaven doth show,
    And every herb that sips the dew;
    Till old experience do attain
    To something like prophetic strain.
    These pleasures Melancholy give,
    And I with thee will choose to live.
    John Milton (1608–1674)
