Legislative Segments
As per order of the Delimitation Commission in respect of the delimitation of constituencies in West Bengal:
- The three blocks of Ranibandh, Hirbandh and Khatra will form the area under the Ranibandh assembly constituency of West Bengal.
- The Raipur block and the Sarenga block will define the area under the Raipur assembly constituency.
- The gram panchayats of Veduasol, Brahmandiha, Hatgram, Indpur and Raghunathpur under the Indpur block will be part of the area under the Chhatna assembly constituency.
- The other two gram panchayats under the Indpur block, the Simplipal block and the gram panchayats of Bibarda, Fulmati, Harmasra, Khalgram, Panchmura and Taldangra under the Taldangra block will together form the Taldangra assembly constituency.
- The other three gram panchayats under the Taldangra block will be part of the domain of the Bankura assembly constituency.
- The constituencies of Ranibandh and Raipur will be reserved for Scheduled tribes (ST) candidates.
- All the five constituencies will be assembly segments of the Bankura (Lok Sabha constituency).
