Kelly Racing

Nissan Motorsport (known from 2009 to 2012 as Kelly Racing), is a team competing in the Australian V8 Supercar series. The team, owned by John and Margaret Kelly, made its debut in 2009, and raced Holden Commodores until the end of the 2012 season. Starting in 2013, the team switched to competing with Nissan Altimas, and changed its name to Nissan Motorsport. The team has been based out of Melbourne since its foundation.

For points-scoring purposes, the team is divided into two separate entries: "Jack Daniel's Racing", which is made up of car #7, driven by 2005 Bathurst 1000 winner Todd Kelly; and car #15, driven by his brother, 2006 V8 Supercar series champion Rick Kelly. The second entry is known as "Norton 360 Racing", and is made up of car #36, which is driven by Michael Caruso, who was recruited to the team for 2013 after five seasons with Garry Rogers Motorsport; and car #360, driven by James Moffat, who also joined the team in 2013, moving from Dick Johnson Racing.

Famous quotes containing the word racing:

Upscale people are fixated with food simply because they are now able to eat so much of it without getting fat, and the reason they don’t get fat is that they maintain a profligate level of calorie expenditure. The very same people whose evenings begin with melted goat’s cheese ... get up at dawn to run, break for a mid-morning aerobics class, and watch the evening news while racing on a stationary bicycle.
    Barbara Ehrenreich (b. 1941)
