KBVO-CD, channel 51, is the MyNetworkTV affiliate for Austin, Texas and is a repeater of KBVO. It is owned and operated by LIN TV Corporation, and sister station to KXAN-TV and KNVA. KBVO-CD broadcasts on UHF channel 51 as a Class A digital television station.
The KBVO callsign, named after the University of Texas mascot, "Bevo", was formerly used on channel 42, which is now KEYE-TV.
From 2002 until 2008, KBVO was affiliated with Telefutura; that network is now seen on KTFO-CD. After dropping Telefutura, the station began to simulcast KNVA.
Until October 2009, KBVO-CA's programming was also seen on a group of translators formerly used to carry the Hill Country Paramount Network; this ended after the KNVA simulcast was dropped in favor of KBVO's programming (the translators continue to simulcast KNVA).
