Aims of The College
The college aims at providing both advanced professional knowledge, and broad practical experience and skills, so that students and graduates can play an active role in the dynamic future of the education system in Israel. All of this takes place in an environment that is caring and supportive and takes the students' needs into consideration.
Kaye College is known for the support system and assistance that it offers its students. Its "open door policy" enables every student to approach any faculty member or administrative person, from the dean's office – where students receive personal and academic assistance and advice about scholarships and grants, reserve duty, dormitories and improving learning strategies – to the office of the president of the college, Professor Shlomo Back.
In addition to attempting to improve the status of the teacher in Israel, the college contributes to educational activities in the Southern region and conducts many projects in the Jewish and the Bedouin sectors in conjunction with other bodies such as the Ministry of Education, Beer Sheva municipality, Ben-Gurion University, regional councils, the JOINT organization and the "SAKTA-RASHI" Foundation.
