K-1 World Grand Prix 2008 in Fukuoka was a kickboxing event held by the K-1 on Sunday June 29, 2008 at the Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan. It was the third official K-1 World GP held in 2008, featuring the classic eight-man elimination tournament, winner advancing to K-1 World GP 2008 Final 16 in Seoul, South Korea. The main event of the evening featured the current K-1 World Champion Semmy Schilt defending his Super Heavyweight Title against Jerome Le Banner.
The K-1 World GP in Fukuoka attracted a crowd of 6,927 to the Fukuoka Marine Messe and was broadcast live across Japan on Fuji TV and in South Korea on the CJ Media Network.
