Juval Aviv
Juval (or Yuval) Aviv (born February 24, 1947) is an Israeli-American security consultant and writer. He may be best known for his claim that he worked for Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service, and conducted the counter-terrorist operation he told about as the chief source to George Jonas, the author of Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team (1984). Since 2003, Aviv has published four books related to security, two of which address notable mysteries.
Vengeance was adapted twice as films, which attracted considerable attention to Aviv and his claimed role with Mossad. It was adapted as the film Munich (2005), directed by Steven Spielberg. At the time of the book and the movie, Aviv's claims were openly debated. He is currently the president of Interfor, a corporate investigations firm in New York City.
