Jon Garth Murray

Jon Garth Murray (November 16, 1954 – September 29, 1995) was the son of Madalyn Murray O'Hair, the first president and founder of American Atheists.

From 1986 until his murder in 1995, Garth Murray held the office of President of American Atheists. Although in practice, it was a title without power as his mother retained most of the presidential powers behind-the-scenes.

Jon Garth Murray was living with his mother Madalyn and niece Robin Murray O'Hair, when all three of them were kidnapped and murdered by David Waters.
