Early Life and Education
John Inge was born to Geoffrey John Inge and Elsie Inge (née Hill) in 1955. He was educated at Kent College, Canterbury and St Chad's College, Durham University where he took a BSc in 1977 and an MA in 1994. In 1979 he took a PGCE at Keble College, Oxford. He trained for ordination at the College of the Resurrection, Mirfield. He completed a PhD at Durham in 2002.
