John Barrow (U.S. Politician)

John Jenkins Barrow (born October 31, 1955) is the U.S. Representative for Georgia's 12th congressional district, serving since 2005. He is a member of the Democratic Party. The district stretches along the eastern portion of the state, from Augusta to Savannah, although redistricting in 2011 will remove Savannah from the district beginning with the 2012 election. He is the last remaining white Democratic Congressman from the Deep South.
