Famous quotes containing the word family:

A family with the wrong members in control—that, perhaps, is as near as one can come to describing England in a phrase.
    George Orwell (1903–1950)

Nor does the family even move about together,
But every son would have his motor cycle,
And daughters ride away on casual pillions.
    —T.S. (Thomas Stearns)

There are one or two rules,
    Half-a-dozen, maybe,
    That all family fools,
    Of whatever degree,
Must observe if they love their profession.
    Sir William Schwenck Gilbert (1836–1911)
