Club Career

Jiang began his professional with Qingdao Jonoon in the 2004 season when he made his senior debut against Inter Shanghai in the first game of the season on 16 May 2004 in a 2-2 draw where he also scored his first goal. Throughout the season, he would gradually establish himself within the squad due to his versatility in being able to play as a striker or a winger and would eventually play in seventeen league games, though most were as a substitute. By the following season, he would become an integral part of the Qingdao Jonoon team where he aided them to several mid-table positions before he joined Guangzhou Evergrande.
