Campaign For State Representative
Jason Briscoe was the Republican nominee for State Representative in Illinois's 75th district. Briscoe challenged incumbent Democrat Careen Gordon in what is one of the more competitive districts in the state. Briscoe won his party's nomination in the March 21st primary defeating David McAloon. Briscoe lost in the General election to incumbent Careen Gordon, losing in all counties except Iroquois which he won by eleven votes. In other counties Gordon managed to garner up to 69% of the popular vote, ultimately polling almost double the votes of the challenger. 24,609 to 12,575.
