Jamie Murphy (Space Guitarist)

Jamie Murphy (December 23, 1976) is a musician from Liverpool, best known for being the co song writer and lead guitarist of the group Space, whom he also co-founded. After leaving the group in 2002 due to being at constant logger heads with Tommy (the other song writer in Space), he started a new group called Firehead with Vince Hagen. Jamie is now co singer songwriter with Vince Hagen who played guitar for ex Beatles drummer Pete Best & Franny Griffiths in the new Liverpool band DUST, from Echo & The Bunnymen now plays drums for them.

Murphy was well known for writing the more punky/edgy songs during his time in Space. Murphy was also the youngest member of the group, as he was only 15 when Space started and 16 by the time they signed a record deal.

Narcotics have been systematically scapegoated and demonized. The idea that anyone can use drugs and escape a horrible fate is an anathema to these idiots. I predict that in the near future, right wingers will use drug hysteria as a pretext to set up an international police apparatus.
