Christ For The Nations Institute

Freda Lindsay, his wife, diligently continued his dream of founding apostolic churches, ministers and study support many students. She remained active as the President of Christ for the Nations until she retired in her 90's. "Mom" Lindsay died in her home on March 26, 2010, at the age of 95 on "Gordon Lindsay Day," a day the institute had designated to remember and honor the legacy of the founder.

His son, Dennis Lindsay, is the current president of CFNI and continues the work that his parents started.

Famous quotes containing the words christ, nations and/or institute:

We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
    Bible: New Testament, Galatians 2:15-16.

The UN is not just a product of do-gooders. It is harshly real. The day will come when men will see the UN and what it means clearly. Everything will be all right—you know when? When people, just people, stop thinking of the United Nations as a weird Picasso abstraction, and see it as a drawing they made themselves.
    Dag Hammarskjöld (1905–1961)

Whenever any form of government shall become destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, & to institute new government, laying it’s foundation on such principles & organising it’s powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety & happiness.
    Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826)
