A car with automatic transmission tested by the British magazine The Motor in 1958 had a top speed of 114.4 mph (184.1 km/h) and could accelerate from 0–60 mph (97 km/h) in 11.3 seconds. A fuel consumption of 15.2 miles per imperial gallon (18.6 L/100 km; 12.7 mpg) was recorded. The test car cost £2162 including taxes of £721.
