As most professional Whistle makers stopped making whistles circa late Victorian Era or soon after, to name a few ;Dowler, Auld, Coney & Co., Black & Co, Walton, Barrall and Yates, so did Stevens. The exception Being A De Courcy & Co and J Hudson & Co.
It is c. 1901 That J. Stevens & Sons stopped manufacturing whistles ordering their whistles from J Hudson & Co Founded by Joseph Hudson in Birmingham. These whistles are very rare since that collaboration did not last long.
