Isochronous Media Access Controller

Isochronous media access controller (I-MAC) is a media access control whereby data must be transferred isochronously—in other words, the data must be transmitted at a steady rate, without interruption.

Famous quotes containing the words media and/or access:

The question confronting the Church today is not any longer whether the man in the street can grasp a religious message, but how to employ the communications media so as to let him have the full impact of the Gospel message.
Pope John Paul II (b. 1920)

    Make thick my blood,
Stop up th’ access and passage to remorse,
That no compunctious visitings of nature
    Shake my fell purpose.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
