International Policy Network

The International Policy Network (IPN) is a global think tank headquartered in the City of London. It defines itself as a non-partisan, non-profit organization, but has also been described as a "corporate-funded campaigning group". IPN runs public education campaigns on international issues ranging from trade and development to healthcare and the environment.

In the context of global policy issues, IPN’s campaigns highlight the role of markets and market institutions as a means of empowering individuals so that they are able to improve their own lives and the lives of others. IPN hopes that as a result of its programs, individuals will be better able to achieve their aspirations, regardless of race, color, creed, nationality or human condition.

IPN works in partnership with over 75 think tanks around the world.

Famous quotes containing the words policy and/or network:

Mr. Wiggam, I want you to change the policy of The Clarion. I want you to write a story I should have written myself long ago. I want you to tell the people of San Francisco that no city can exist without law and order. Write a story about that flag, write about what verifies and brings a promise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. There are some people in this town who don’t seem to know that. Let The Clarion tell them.
    Ben Hecht (1893–1964)

Parents need all the help they can get. The strongest as well as the most fragile family requires a vital network of social supports.
    Bernice Weissbourd (20th century)
