Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology - Approach

Approach

The efficiency of any institute’s teaching standards are determined by one thing - its approach. IERT values its students more than anything else. We say with full confidence and commitment that the seriousness, dedication, systematic approach and punctuality that you will find in the teaching processes at IERT are unparalleled. Student’s success is the focus of everything IERT does. We realize that students and their success is the only reason for our existence. And since this is our driving force, we lay strong emphasis on the few following cardinal principles.

  • We are a teaching organization and we must focus on good teaching above everything else.
  • Our teachers must be professionally trained and ingrained with the right attitude.
  • We must provide an environment of trust, discipline and hard work.
  • We must ensure that student’s needs are fulfilled to the best of our capabilities.
  • We must set high standards and expect the same from our students too.
  • We must inform and educate the students about the need for strong self-discipline and self-motivation to achieve their goals.

Famous quotes containing the word approach:

The nearer people approach old age the closer they return to a semblance of childhood, until the time comes for them to depart this life, again like children, neither tired of living nor aware of death.
    Desiderius Erasmus (c. 1466–1536)

To approach a city ... as if it were [an] ... architectural problem ... is to make the mistake of attempting to substitute art for life.... The results ... are neither life nor art. They are taxidermy.
    Jane Jacobs (b. 1916)

So live that when thy summons comes to join
    The innumerable caravan that moves
To that mysterious realm, where each shall take
His chamber in the silent halls of death,
Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night,
Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed
By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave
Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch
About him and lies down to pleasant dreams.
    William Cullen Bryant (1794–1878)
