In the 2011 Census, Statistics Canada originally reported that the Town of Innisfil had a population of 33,079 living in 12,294 of its 13,941 total dwellings, a 6.1% change from its 2006 population of 31,175. Statistics Canada subsequently amended the 2011 census results to a population of 32,727 living in 12,162 of its 13,797 total dwellings, a 5.0% change from 2006. With a land area of 284.21 km2 (109.73 sq mi), it had a population density of 115.151/km2 (298.239/sq mi) in 2011.
