The audio of Indra was released on 14th June 2002 evening at a neatly erected set in the first floor of Annapurna Studios. This event was a private affair between Chiru fans and Vijayanthi Movie unit. The celebrities graced for this occasion are Paruchuri brothers (dialogue writers), Aswini Dutt (producer), Chinni Krishna (story writer), VSR Swamy (cinematographer), Sirivennela Seeta Rama Sastry (lyrics writer) and Chiranjeevi. The function started off with the welcome words by Raghu Kunche and Suma. Gemini TV covered this event and it was telecasted as a 30-minute capsule on Gemini TV. Chiranjeevi selected a coupon from the lucky dip box and called out the lucky fan on stage. Chiranjeevi opened the audio box and handed over the first cassette to that fan. Being an elated fan he is, he tried touching the feet of Chiranjeevi. But Chiranjeevi stopped him. The audio hit the market on Monday (17th June 2002) and was a Hit.

Famous quotes containing the word music:
“The dignity of art probably appears most eminently with music since it does not have any material that needs to be discounted. Music is all form and content and elevates and ennobles everything that it expresses.”
—Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe (17491832)
“Truly fertile Music, the only kind that will move us, that we shall truly appreciate, will be a Music conducive to Dream, which banishes all reason and analysis. One must not wish first to understand and then to feel. Art does not tolerate Reason.”
—Albert Camus (19131960)
“Nearly all the bands are mustered out of service; ours therefore is a novelty. We marched a few miles yesterday on a road where troops have not before marched. It was funny to see the children. I saw our boys running after the music in many a group of clean, bright-looking, excited little fellows.”
—Rutherford Birchard Hayes (18221893)
