Indiana Concert Choir State Finals

The Indiana Concert Choir State Finals are an event held by the Indiana State School Music Association at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. The event is generally held in the first week of May each year. Concert choirs from the state have compete in State Qualifying Contest the week before, with the top-16 advancing to the finals. North Central High School has been dominant in the event, winning thirteen of the last twenty-five competitions.

Famous quotes containing the words indiana, concert, choir and/or state:

Can’t get Indiana off my mind, that’s the place I long to see.
    Robert De Leon (1904–1961)

Science is unflinchingly deterministic, and it has begun to force its determinism into morals. On some shining tomorrow a psychoanalyst may be put into the box to prove that perjury is simply a compulsion neurosis, like beating time with the foot at a concert or counting the lampposts along the highway.
    —H.L. (Henry Lewis)

    As night is withdrawn
From these sweet-springing meads and bursting boughs of May,
Dream, while the innumerable choir of day
    Welcome the dawn.
    Robert Bridges (1844–1930)

This state is full of these log cabin Abe Lincolns with price tags on ‘em. The louder he yells, the higher his price.
    Robert Rossen (1908–1966)
