Famous quotes containing the words shadow and/or stars:
“Nor now the long light on the sea
And here face downward in the sun
To feel how swift how secretly
The shadow of the night comes on . . .”
—Archibald MacLeish (18921982)
“There are no stars to-night
But those of memory.
Yet how much room for memory there is
In the loose girdle of soft rain.”
—Hart Crane (18991932)
