"I Love You Always Forever" is a single released in 1996 by Welsh singer Donna Lewis, from her debut album, Now in a Minute. Inspired by the H. E. Bates novel Love for Lydia, it was successful, reaching number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and staying there for nine weeks during the summer of 1996, kept from number one by Los Del Rio's "Macarena". The song was number one on the Hot 100 Airplay chart for twelve weeks, becoming one of the most played songs of the 1990s. The song therefore is tied for fourth place among songs with the longest runs at #2. The very beginning of the song is edited in a radio version of the song.
The song was also released in 1996 in remixed versions by Electro DJ "Sylk 130" and other artists. It was also covered by indie rock group Jukebox the Ghost.
