Amenities
The village has a newsagent, a doctor's surgery, a pharmacy, a hair salon and an antique shop. There are two pubs, the Station Hotel and the Comet, and a working men's club. There is also a Christadelphian hall. Rockliffe Hall hotel and spa and the surrounding parkland are owned by Middlesbrough Football Club, and the club's training and sports facilities form part of the complex. The 18-hole Rockliffe championship golf course is one of the longest in Europe. The adjoining village of Hurworth-on-Tees contains further shops, a primary and secondary school, the parish church and a Methodist church, a garden centre and a community centre.
