House Hunting Mice - Series

Series

The cartoon was originally part of the Looney Tunes series. However the lobby card erroneously calls it a Merrie Melodie; presumably it was originally planned to be part of that series, but was changed at the last minute (and the lobby card was never withdrawn). Incidentally, the cartoon was later reissued as part of the Merrie Melodies Blue Ribbon program (the closing music remained unchanged from the original issue, however there are prints which retain the original closing rings as well).

Famous quotes containing the word series:

Rosalynn said, “Jimmy, if we could only get Prime Minister Begin and President Sadat up here on this mountain for a few days, I believe they might consider how they could prevent another war between their countries.” That gave me the idea, and a few weeks later, I invited both men to join me for a series of private talks. In September 1978, they both came to Camp David.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

Depression moods lead, almost invariably, to accidents. But, when they occur, our mood changes again, since the accident shows we can draw the world in our wake, and that we still retain some degree of power even when our spirits are low. A series of accidents creates a positively light-hearted state, out of consideration for this strange power.
    Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)

The woman’s world ... is shown as a series of limited spaces, with the woman struggling to get free of them. The struggle is what the film is about; what is struggled against is the limited space itself. Consequently, to make its point, the film has to deny itself and suggest it was the struggle that was wrong, not the space.
    Jeanine Basinger (b. 1936)
