Administrative Organization
Administratively, Hotin County was divided into the city of Hotin and four (later six) districts (plăşi, singular plasă):
- Plasa Hotin (later Clişcăuţi)
- Plasa Briceni (later Ion Gh. Duca)
- Plasa Lipcani
- Plasa Secureni
Later two more were formed:
- Plasa Chelmenţi
- Plasa Suliţa
