Decommissioning and Fate

Nepal arrived in Sydney on 22 October, and was decommissioned and returned to the Royal Navy that day. The ship did not return to active duty; instead, she was kept in reserve until 1955, when she was sold. Nepal was broken up for scrap at Briton Ferry in Wales in January 1956.
