High Plains Uranium
High Plains Uranium, Inc. was a uranium company based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and was founded in April 2004. It closed its initial public offering in December 2005 and was traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange. High Plains acquired and controls mineral rights of more than 45,000 acres (180 km²) of uranium properties in Wyoming and more than 6,000 acres (24 km²) in Texas. The company was acquired by Energy Metals Corporation in 2007.
