Henderson Mill Road runs from Northlake to Embry Hills in DeKalb County, Georgia, and is part of Metropolitan Atlanta. Remnants of the historic mill are located near the intersection of Midvale Road and Henderson Mill Road, designated with a historic marker. Henderson Middle School and Henderson Mill Elementary are both located along the road. Northlake Mall marks the southern terminus of the road, while Embry Hills Shopping Center is located at the northern terminus. Near it's northern end, the road passed under Interstate highway I-285.
