Hello! Project Kids

Hello! Project Kids (ハロー!プロジェクト・キッズ, Harō! Purojekuto Kizzu?) are a Japanese music group of fifteen young girls chosen out of 27,958 applicants in 2002. The group was formed as a part of Hello! Project.

The group has so far published a number of records under both group names and the Hello! Project Kids title. Some of them were selected for members of ZYX and Aa! in 2003, but which were both short-lived groups and, for some time, virtually dormant.

Hello! Project Kids are currently organized into two groups — Berryz Kobo and Cute. Buono! is also a newly formed unit consisting of three Hello! Project Kids.

Famous quotes containing the words project and/or kids:

A candidate once called his opponent “a willful, obstinate, unsavory, obnoxious, pusillanimous, pestilential, pernicious, and perversable liar” without pausing for breath, and even his enemies removed their hats.
—Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)

Children are extraordinarily precious members of society; they are exquisitely alert, sensitive, and conscious of their surroundings; and they are extraordinarily vulnerable to maltreatment or emotional abuse by adults who refuse to give them the profound respect and affection to which they are unconditionally entitled.
Wisdom of the Elders, quoted in Kids Are Worth It, by Barbara Coloroso, ch. 1 (1994)
