Facilities
The station has a staffed ticket office, waiting rooms, toilets and a cafe. Platform 2, towards Leeds, is accessible to those with disabilities but platform 1 is not; the lifts serving the subway were closed in the 1980s and funding for their re-instatement has not been made available via the Department for Transport's Access for All scheme. Information screens were installed in 2012 as part of a programme to provide screens at 18 stations on the Caldervale line and elsewhere in West Yorkshire. Previously, passengers had to rely on automated public-address system announcements.
