Heathen Front

Heathen Front

The Allgermanische Heidnische Front (AHF) was an international neo-Nazi organisation, active during the late 1990s and early 2000s, that espoused a philosophy known as "Odalism". The AHF's folkish heathenry was imbued with anti-semitism, xenophobia, and blood and soil nationalism. It cited among its ideological forebears Richard Walther Darré and far right German Greens such as Herbert Gruhl, August Hausleiter, Rudolf Bahro; Bahro being most infamous for his call for a "Green Adolf". These pronouncements placed the AHF firmly within the "green-brown" or ecofascist perspective.

Famous quotes containing the words heathen and/or front:

    Which I wish to remark—
    And my language is plain—
That for ways that are dark
And for tricks that are vain,
    The heathen Chinee is peculiar:
Which the same I would rise to explain.
    Bret Harte (1836–1902)

I may be able to spot arrowheads on the desert but a refrigerator is a jungle in which I am easily lost. My wife, however, will unerringly point out that the cheese or the leftover roast is hiding right in front of my eyes. Hundreds of such experiences convince me that men and women often inhabit quite different visual worlds. These are differences which cannot be attributed to variations in visual acuity. Man and women simply have learned to use their eyes in very different ways.
    Edward T. Hall (b. 1914)
