Heart Of The City (comic Strip)

Heart of the City is a comic strip by Mark Tatulli. It began syndication by Universal Press Syndicate on November 23, 1998 and is still running.

It centers around a young girl, named Heart, who lives somewhere in or near Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (One 2004 strip shows her home address as 1512 Spruce Street, which corresponds to the historic Drake apartment building in Rittenhouse Square.)

Famous quotes containing the words heart and/or city:

I’ve looked on a lot of women with lust. I’ve committed adultery in my heart many times. This is something God recognizes I will do—and I have done it—and God forgives me for it.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

Our purpose in founding the city was not to make any one class in it surpassingly happy, but to make the city as a whole as happy as possible.
    Socrates (469–399 B.C.)
