ER Death
In November 2008, the hospital was cleared in the death of a homeless man in September 2008 by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. Brian Sinclair died while being left in the waiting area for the hospital's emergency room, for thirty-five hours, of a bladder infection. The death has prompted changes in the hospital's triage system.
