Activities & Facilities
Activities and facilities across all parks use standardised branding introduced by British Holidays in 1998, including "Funworks" (main entertainment complex), "Showbar" (family entertainment centre), "Foodworks" (fast food outlets; many now replaced by Burger King), "Ropeworks" (high rope activity centre), "SplashZone" (swimming pools), "SportsZone" (sports activities), "Mash and Barrel" (restaurant and bar) and "FunZone" (outdoor family activity / playground areas). In addition, all parks have a general store (branded asEverydays, Essentials, not at all or more recently SPAR or Londis), reception and a Haven Holiday Homes focusing on caravan sales, often branded as "Owners Exclusive" within the parks themselves.
The ShowBar entertainers, since 1998, have been known as "FunStars", replacing the "Haven Mates" title in former Haven resorts.

Famous quotes containing the words activities and/or facilities:
“Justice begins with the recognition of the necessity of sharing. The oldest law is that which regulates it, and this is still the most important law today and, as such, has remained the basic concern of all movements which have at heart the community of human activities and of human existence in general.”
—Elias Canetti (b. 1905)
“I have always found that when men have exhausted their own resources, they fall back on the intentions of the Creator. But their platitudes have ceased to have any influence with those women who believe they have the same facilities for communication with the Divine mind as men have.”
—Elizabeth Cady Stanton (18151902)
