Family
Burton has four sisters and three brothers. He had a cat and two dogs. His partner Joanne Collins is also a journalist. His father Harry(Sr) is a Scientist and his mother Anne, who predeceased her son, was a Social Worker. Harry Burton (Sr) was a judge for the ADF photography award named in his son's honour.
