Harimau Muda A is the club name for Malaysia national under-22 football team representing Malaysia in international football competitions such as AFC U-22 Asian Cup, Champions Youth Cup as well as other under-22 international football tournaments. It is managed by Football Association of Malaysia. The squad is the feeder team for Malaysia U-23 and senior national football team. The A players are between age 19 to 22 while Harimau Muda B is for under-19 players. Harimau Muda A is currently playing in the 2012 S. League.
The team is aimed at developing Malaysian youth players and does not recruit any foreign nationals in its squad.
The name "Harimau Muda" means "Young Tigers" in English.
