Hans Von Gersdorff (surgeon)

Hans von Gersdorff also known as Schyl-Hans, (* approx. 1455; † 1529 in Straßburg) was an exceptional surgeon of his time. He published in 1517 the Feldbuch der Wundarzney (Field book of surgery) illustrated with wood cut works attributed to Hans Wechtlin.
