GridPoint was founded in 2003 by Peter L. Corsell and quickly established itself as a thought leader in energy management solutions through developing cutting edge technologies for the modern grid. Until 2008, GridPoint primarily provided solutions for utilities such as GridPoint’s Smart Grid Platform. As the energy efficiency market evolved, GridPoint grew into the energy management and big data analysis space serving customers in the commercial/industrial, government, and utility markets. In 2010, John Spirtos was selected to succeed Peter L. Corsell as CEO to drive the company’s next phase of growth as Mr. Corsell became Chairman of the Board. Today, GridPoint is a leader in smart energy solutions, providing Fortune 1000 enterprises, government agencies, and utilities with the tools to implement and maintain sustainable energy management and sustainability practices.
