Good Morning Britain is TV-am's flagship breakfast television show throughout TV-am's time on air of the broadcasting 5-days a week to initially from 07:00 until 09:00 GMT. In 1985 the programme started at the earlier time at 06:15 GMT and in 1988 the programme started at 06:00 GMT. It had many different presenters throughout its run but the most famous pairing was Anne Diamond and Nick Owen.
From a very slow start which almost led to the closure of TV-am Good Morning Britain became very successful and had very impressive ratings. According to one presenter Mike Morris they estimated to have interviewed over 30,000-guests on the sofa throughout its run.
