Good Day No Rain is the second solo CD by recording artist Bill Deasy although it is the first "official" release after formally leaving The Gathering Field. Chasing Down a Spark follows his 2003 release Good Day No Rain and his first solo effort, Spring Lies Waiting, which was recorded as a side project while still with The Gathering Field. 4 tracks on Good Day No Rain were produced by Gregg Wattenberg and the balance produced by Deasy and Dave McNair. Several of the songs on this CD received radio play both in the US and overseas, most notably, "Blue Sky Grey", "I Want to Know", "In My Head" and "Prisoner".

Famous quotes containing the words day and/or rain:
“You are the majorityin number and intelligence; therefore you are the forcewhich is justice. Some are scholars, others are owners; a glorious day will come when the scholars will be owners and the owners scholars. Then your power will be complete, and no man will protest against it.”
—Charles Baudelaire (18211867)
“Heaven has its business and earth has its business: those are two separate things. Heaven, thats the angels pasture; they are happy; they dont have to fret about food and drink. And you can be sure that they have black angels to do the heavy work like laundering the clouds or sweeping the rain and cleaning the sun after a storm, while the white angels sing like nightingales all day long or blow in those little trumpets like they show in the pictures we see in church.”
—Jacques Roumain (19071945)
