Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company - Employee Service Division

Employee Service Division

In 1972, Globe Life discovered a need for civil service employees to supplement their life insurance benefits. As a result, Globe Life formed its Employee Services Division (ESD) to service the Government marketplace at the state and Federal levels, and has developed special life and health insurance products to continually meet those needs. Through Globe's supplemental insurance program, Government members and their families can purchase Ordinary Life or Term insurance protection designed to pick-up where their Federal Employee Government Life Insurance, or FEGLI, leaves off.

Famous quotes containing the words service and/or division:

In the early forties and fifties almost everybody “had about enough to live on,” and young ladies dressed well on a hundred dollars a year. The daughters of the richest man in Boston were dressed with scrupulous plainness, and the wife and mother owned one brocade, which did service for several years. Display was considered vulgar. Now, alas! only Queen Victoria dares to go shabby.
    M. E. W. Sherwood (1826–1903)

Major [William] McKinley visited me. He is on a stumping tour.... I criticized the bloody-shirt course of the canvass. It seems to me to be bad “politics,” and of no use.... It is a stale issue. An increasing number of people are interested in good relations with the South.... Two ways are open to succeed in the South: 1. A division of the white voters. 2. Education of the ignorant. Bloody-shirt utterances prevent division.
    Rutherford Birchard Hayes (1822–1893)
