Future
Due to development proposals for the SECC & surrounding area including construction of a hotel, casino and associated parking there is a requirement to relocate the heliport, with a site near the South entrance to the Clyde Tunnel being the preferred option. Planning permission is currently being sought to develop a derelict site situated between Linthouse Road and Holmfauld Road in Govan, Glasgow.
