Ghent Students Rowing - Autonomy and Activities

Autonomy and Activities

Student Services of the 4 colleges, university and the MBA - Institute are part of the network, but the club does not receive any other support. The urban rowing course Watersportbaan of Ghent is available. The annual Orca's Final Students Races and Company Eights Regatta in Holland and Passage true Ghent are popular with rowing students.

This Belgian club likes to work on the creation of the Belgian Students Rowing Federation and Students Rowing Flanders . There is still a long way to go before getting ready to participate at the Temple Challenge Cup of the Henley Royal Regatta.

Famous quotes containing the words autonomy and, autonomy and/or activities:

If the Russians have gone too far in subjecting the child and his peer group to conformity to a single set of values imposed by the adult society, perhaps we have reached the point of diminishing returns in allowing excessive autonomy and in failing to utilize the constructive potential of the peer group in developing social responsibility and consideration for others.
    Urie Bronfenbrenner (b. 1917)

That is the real pivot of all bourgeois consciousness in all countries: fear and hate of the instinctive, intuitional, procreative body in man or woman. But of course this fear and hate had to take on a righteous appearance, so it became moral, said that the instincts, intuitions and all the activities of the procreative body were evil, and promised a reward for their suppression. That is the great clue to bourgeois psychology: the reward business.
