In the United Kingdom and the USA are responsible the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the American Battle Monuments Commission, in France the Ministère de la Défense and in Russia the Association of War Memorials.
The Austrian Black Cross cares for Austrian war graves in Austria. Austrian War graves on the Vienna Central cemetery are still looked after by German War Graves Commission.
