International Career
An occasional member of the Under 21 team, Iliev marked his international début under Hristo Stoichkov on 29 November 2004 in a friendly game against Egypt. His first and only goal for Bulgaria came against Iceland on 7 September 2005. He was capped 15 times for Bulgaria.
